Fatsia japonica is a bold, evergreen shrub valued for its large, glossy, deeply lobed leaves that bring a tropical feel to the garden. Despite its exotic appearance, it is fully hardy in most parts of the UK, making it a reliable choice for year-round structure and interest.
Thriving in partial to full shade, Fatsia japonica is ideal for brightening darker areas such as woodland gardens, shaded borders, and north-facing walls.
